For those who are really interested in "me" (fools!), I'm Tony Collins, aged 57, married to Pat (for 34 years!). After 12 years deep-sea in the Merchant Navy, then 26 years working for the Scottish Government with their fisheries fleet, I have taken early retirement. I now work part-time for a local non-profit company driving the Out-of-Hours GPs. We have two children (Fhionnagh 28, and Kenneth 25). We live in Kirkcaldy in Fife, Scotland (home of linoleum, Raith Rovers Football Club, and Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Team).

Fhi is currently staying in her own flat in Cowdenbeath, and is shortly to complete a course in Complementary Therapies at the local college.

Kenney graduated in 2008 from Napier University with a BSc(Hons) in Sports & Exercise Science (Sports Injuries). He has recently successfully completed his qualification as a Personal Trainer and is now trying to create a client-base for his new company. He has moved back in with us until the change of job has settled financially.

Pat .....	Scottish Country Dancing, needlecraft, cookery
Fhi .....	says she doesn't have time for any hobbies! (but does Scottish Country Dancing, allegedly to keep fit!)
Kenney .....	Display gymnastics (twice (and current) British Champion), ice hockey, and his motorbike (not sure of his order of priority!)

There are several reasons for this site.
Initially, it was set up to allow my server entitlement to be used free by a local charity, but that is no longer the case
The software I use for our genealogy project can also produce a website of the data. I realised this could assist in my research. If anyone can help, please email me using the facility on that page.
After a request for more info on our canal holidays (we historically have had a "live" site updated on a daily basis when we are away, then deleted it when we got home), I have started a full site containing the logs of all our holidays - this is now expanded with each new holiday.
Recently, as a retirement present, I was given a weather station. It has the capability to send live data to a website, so I thought I'd share it with everyone .
