For those who are really interested in "me" (fools!), I'm Tony Collins, aged 60, married to Pat (for 38 years!). After 12 years deep-sea in the Merchant Navy, then 26 years working for the Scottish Government with their fisheries patrol fleet, I took early retirement in 2011. We have two children (Fhi 32, and Kenney 29). Our house is in Kirkcaldy in Fife, Scotland (home of linoleum, Raith Rovers Football Club, and Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Team), but are also the proud owners of a traditional canal narrowboat "Paws 4 Thought" .
Fhi has completed her second college course with an iTec qualification as a Beauty Technician, having already completed the iTec qualification as an Alternative Therapist. She lives in Edinburgh with her fiancé. She is trying to set up her own 'therapy' company, but is 'keeping afloat' working in retail in Edinburgh.
Kenney graduated in 2008 from Napier University with a BSc(Hons) in Sports & Exercise Science (Sports Injuries). He is a qualified Personal Trainer, trying to create a client-base for his own company. He lives in Kirkcaldy with his girlfriend, and "makes ends meet" by working in the restaurant trade in Dalgety Bay.
|Me .....||Our narrowboat, our genealogy project, computing (incl running a weather station) at the house, and my 'Goldwing' motorcycle|
|Pat .....||Scottish Country Dancing, needlecraft, cookery|
|Fhi .....||says she doesn't have time for hobbies! (but does Scottish Country Dancing, to the point of passing parts 1 to 3 of her teaching qualification)|
|Kenney .....||genuinely doesn't have much time at the moment with his job, but loves their pet cats and plays golf when he can|
