For those who are really interested in "me" (fools!), I'm Tony Collins, aged 58, married to Pat (for 36 years!). After 12 years deep-sea in the Merchant Navy, then 26 years working for the Scottish Government with their fisheries fleet, I took early retirement in 2011. We have two children (Fhi 30, and Kenney 27). We live in Kirkcaldy in Fife, Scotland (home of linoleum, Raith Rovers Football Club, and Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Team), but are currently having a traditional canal narrowboat built.
Fhi has returned to college this year to study beauty treatments, having already completed the iTec qualification as an Alternative Therapist. She has moved back in with us at least until she completes the course.
Kenney graduated in 2008 from Napier University with a BSc(Hons) in Sports & Exercise Science (Sports Injuries). He is a qualified Personal Trainer, trying to create a client-base for his own company. He "makes ends meet" by working in the restaurant trade, and has just received a promotion to manager at a new venture in Dalgety Bay.
|Me .....||Our genealogy project, computing (incl running a weather station), my 'Goldwing' motorcycle (incl as a member of the Riders' Branch of Scotland's Legion (RBLS)|
|Pat .....||Scottish Country Dancing, needlecraft, cookery|
|Fhi .....||says she doesn't have time for hobbies! (but does Scottish Country Dancing, to the point of passing the theory section of her teaching qualification, and does tabletop gaming with her boyfriend)|
|Kenney .....||actually doesn't have any time at the moment with the new job|
